In order to play this game follow the link and then in a Seperate tab using your web browser open up Google or whatever other search engine you use and search for "Microsoft Makecode Arcade" then go back to this github page and follow the instructions presented in the Readme of how to import this game as an extension into Microsoft Makecode Arcade You Can Play It Or Use It As A Template And Develop Your Own Space Shooter Out Of It It Is A Complete Game And How It Relates To The Round 1 Rules Of GDKO 2025 Game Jam Is That The Core Mechanic Is The Shooting If Lazers Secondary Mechanic Is The Disintegration Of The Big K Clumps/Asteroid Chunks That Takes Place When You Hit Them With A Shot And Destroy Them Thus Letting You Progress Your Score To A Higher Score You Get 3 Hits Before Your Toast In The Top Left Is Your Health Bar Wich Is Represented By 3 Heart Sprites And A Padded Health Bar Overlay On The Top Left Is Your Total Score For The Round Each K-Clump/Asteroid Destroyed Is Worth 100 Points How Many Points Can You Get?? This Is my 1st submission on any game jam ever so take it easy on me everything presented in the game was handrawn and handmade from scratch including the games soundtrack thank u all and have fun (side note this game does have multi-player replay ability potential you can use the end of each round and keep track of the scores and come up with your own tournament/multi-player score system and Roadmap whilst playing this game I spent hours making sure that was a possibility and would work correctly) also I spent alot of time on the surface friction and latency aspects of the game as you will see it's very very reactive to your button presses and the game loop is very stable and ready for fast paced pick up and play action if anyone has any questions or needs help on how to import the game into Microsofts Makecode arcade and play and use it as your own project feel free to ask here in the comments ;)
